RESPIRATION CHAMBER FOR STUDY OF ENERGY EXPENDITURE IN MOOSE

Abstract

The respiration chamber and associated equipment used at the Kenai Moose Research Center to measure energy expenditure of moose is described. Methods used to construct the chamber and to measure respired gas volume and composition are discussed.
